Duncanrecently became involved in a new charity album called 'Over The Rainbow', set to be released on June 4th. The album has been put together by Anneka Rice as part of her new 'Challenge Anneka'program.
Anneka and her team were given the task of producing and recording an album of songs from musicals by a host of different artists. In addition to recording, Anneka also had to throw a Gala concert attended by the great and the good, in order to launch the album.
Duncan's contribution to the album is a specially recorded duet of the title track 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'with Myleene Klass.Other artists appearing on the record are stars such as McFly, CerysMatthews, RichardFleeshman, Jermaine Jackson and Michael Bolton. The whole event can be seen in 'Challenge Anneka', ITV1 on June 6th at 9:00pm.
Proceeds from this album will go to children's hospicesacross the country. Children's hospicesare unsung heroes who provide vital care for terminally ill children and the families and siblings who care for them. Largely overlooked by the government to date, 85% of their annual costs are met by fundraising. Last year a staggering 20,000 children across the country desperately needed hospice care: only 4,600 received it.
